LOCKWOOD LION SCULPTURE
The Lockwood Lion is a custom metal sculpture 12 feet tall and 15 feet long installed at Lockwood High School in Lockwood, MT. Weighing approximately 3,500 pounds and designed by Montana Ironworks’ co-founder Dyllon Robertus, the sculpture was created using over 9,000 individual hexagonal and octagonal metal pieces welded together, as well as several thousand individually sculpted metal pieces of various lengths for the lion’s mane.

DONCASTER ROUND BARN
Originally built in 1882, the Doncaster Round Barn in Twin Bridges, MT was renovated and restored in 2017. Montana Ironworks was privileged to fabricate the custom hardware on the main barn door, and all the exterior and interior doors throughout the barn, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

FIREFIGHTERS MEMORIAL
Montana Ironworks designed and fabricated the metal arch, fence, and memorial plaques for the Montana State Firefighters Memorial in Laurel, MT utilizing sculpted metal accents in various metals and finishes.

LANDON'S MIRACLE FIELD
Montana Ironworks designed and fabricated the main metal archway and plaque for Landon’s Miracle Field in Billings, MT.

BREWERY FIREWOOD RACK & STALLS
Montana Ironworks designed and fabricated this custom metal firewood rack for the wood stove in this brewery’s dining room. The robust firewood rack was built to hold large quantities of wood and features the names of the brewery’s original beers in a custom-colored patina, as do the metal panel stalls in the restrooms.

INDI CHOCOLATE TABLE
Montana Ironworks built a custom table for Indi Chocolate’s new retail space in Seattle’s Pike Place Market in 2017. The table features a pine timber wood top, and a base made from a vintage lathe dating circa the 1930’s. Mechanically fastened gears operated by a wheel can control turning the table top from horizontal to vertical for use as a sign or billboard as well.
