Waste Water Treatment Plant

Project overview

A platinum and palladium mine located in south central Montana expanded operations during the Blitz Project, which required additional water treatment processing. Our scope of work included the fabrication of on-site storage tanks, equipment installation, piping and valve installation.

Approach

This project consisted of several scopes being completed on a tight schedule. We worked alongside the earthwork contractors and building constructors to complete this project on time and within budget.

  • Field Erected Tanks - MTI fabricated and erected three (3) X’ diameter storage tanks.
  • Pipe Supports - MTI fabricated and installed pipe supports for all piping within the treatment building.
  • Carbon Steel Piping & Fittings - MTI provided and installed all required CS piping for the treatment process as well as piping connections to the treatment equipment and tanks.

Coordination of this project included working with the operations team to ensure there were little to no impacts on operations.
Montana Ironworks procured and installed materials in a timely manner to meet the client’s schedule. This project was completed safely, on time and on budget.
